At the age of 12, I was selling jeans on a market stall advising on which style suited, I can assure you it was not for the money but for the love of fashion.

I didn’t know then, that this would be the career path I would take, from them on, I had my own business when I was 24, Children's boutique selling continental clothes to all the footballers wives in Cheshire, in between having my family and studying at college as an interior designer.

In 2001 I became the fashion advisor for John Lewis, developing the department, personal shopping, fashion shows, workshops and writing a monthly fashion column for a local newspaper.

So this is how Elegant Swan was born, with wealth of experience and the knowledge I have gained, this is what I want to pass on to you.

Style isn’t about being a fashion victim, or what labels you are wearing, it’s all about your body shape, and knowing what colours suit you.
